Michelle Haines Martino is a Jacksonville native. She graduated from Bishop Kenny High School and attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina where she graduated with honors received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctorate summa cum laude from the Florida Coastal School of Law. Michelle also received a certificate in Advanced Legal Research, Writing and Drafting. During law school, Michelle was selected for the Moot Court Honor Board where she competed in several national competitions, earning a best advocate second award and advancing to the semi-finals.
In her final year, Michelle was elected Secretary to the Moot Court Honor Board. She was also a staff editor of the Florida Costal Law Review. During her time in law school, Michelle received numerous book awards, and obtained Dean’s honors every semester.
Michelle started her career at a boutique firm in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, representing common interest communities and corporations in all facets of their business, including litigation. Mr. Haines has handled numerous cases through verdict and judgment, as well as arguing in both the First and Fifth District Courts of Appeal.. She has also worked as an insurance defense attorney at the largest Florida insurance defense firm. There, she gained valuable experience in personal injury litigation. While there, Michelle witnessed firsthand how insurance companies handled and valued cases against victims of negligence. She has now dedicated her career to helping those injured to receive just compensation.
Michelle is admitted to all Florida Courts and the United States District Courts in the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. Michelle is also admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia. This distinction enables Michelle to represent clients throughout Georgia and Florida.
