While it seems that driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol was not a factor, it is clear that careless driving can be just as dangerous as a DUI. Careless driving can be anything from failing to notice lane markings to driving while texting. In this age of handheld portable gadgets, it seems that there is no end to a driver’s potential distractions. No matter what cars they drive or what kinds of devices they carry, safety should be the first thing on every driver’s mind. Many Florida drivers take these precautions, and it is only reasonable to expect others to do the same. Unfortunately, not everyone understands the importance of driving without distractions, and sometimes serious car accidents result. Personal injury law exists to compensate victims of car accidents who were injured due to another person’s negligence. A personal injury attorney at Edwards & Ragtaz, P.A. can guide you through this process and work to get you the compensation you deserve.
