April 23, 2013:  Attorney Lindsay Tygart has been appointed to the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors. Only 17 young lawyers are appointed to the Board out of the entire state of Florida. She will serve on the Board for 1-year.

The Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar has over 21,000 members. All lawyers under age 36 and new Florida Bar members for the first 5 years in good standing are automatically members. The purpose of the Young Lawyers Division is to stimulate and encourage the interest and participation of division members in The Florida Bar.

 

Lindsay is admitted to The Florida Bar and licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Florida including the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, and Middle Districts of Florida. She is actively involved in the Jacksonville, FL community, helping organizations like Dreams Come True and volunteering at the Sulzbacher Center, Soup Kitchen and Habitat for Humanity.  Lindsay has also participated in The JBA Holiday Project, YLS Holiday in January, YLS Run for Cover, Law Day’s Law for the Layperson seminar, Rendezvous on the River Charity Fundraiser and High School Mock Trial Competition.
