Improper lane change on I-95 causes fatal accident

An improper lane change is generally considered to be the act of a motorist that moves from their existing lane on a roadway into another lane without indicating or signaling that they are about to change lanes – thereby endangering other motorists in the process.
In most instances, the at-fault driver also does not look for other vehicles surrounding them before the lane change, with can then place unsuspecting drivers and riders in a very precarious situation. Many of these unsafe practices are the result of aggressive or negligent drivers that are either oblivious to other motorists or too inconsiderate of them to the point where they risking the lives of other motorists so that they can change lanes.

Understandably, should an accident result from these dangerous driving practices, the resulting injuries can be life-changing for all parties involved.  For example, look at the tragedy which struck a truck driver on I-95 when a car pulled out in front of his truck.  The truck driver died after the right front of the Honda Civic that had made an improper lange change in front of the truck collided with the left rear of the truck.  The impact caused the truck driver to lose control and travel over the northbound lanes before crashing over the northbound exit ramp to Dunn and into the tree line, the FHP said. The truck became engulfed in flames.
