New red light cameras grace period begins

Channel 4 reports that Jacksonville has four new red light cameras at various intersections around town.  The City of Jacksonville informs residents that  the warning-grace period will start at 11:59 p.m. Thursday for these new red light intersections.

New cameras were installed at the following locations:

  • Beach Blvd. and San Pablo Road eastbound
  • Beach Blvd. and St. Johns Bluff Road, both east and westbound
  • Gate Parkway and Southside Blvd. eastbound

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it will notify residents via social media when the warning-grace period will end and when the notice of violations will begin for the new approaches.
