Our team at Edwards & Ragatz, P.A. is proud to announce that Senior Partner Tom Edwards has been unanimously elected as Dean of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL).
The IATL is an invitation-only fellowship founded in 1954 and dedicated to excellence in trial advocacy, the independence of the judiciary, and the protection of the Rule of Law. Regarded as one of the most prestigious legal organizations in the world, its membership includes 500 active trial lawyers from the United States and Canada, along with more than 150 Fellows from 30 countries representing both sides of civil and criminal practice.
As Dean, Tom will serve as an Officer of the Academy and as a member of its executive committee, helping to guide the organization's direction and mission at the highest level. The Dean is traditionally regarded as the moral compass of the Academy, and the role carries with it the responsibility of delivering a keynote address at the annual meeting focused on the future of trial advocacy and the strength of the Rule of Law.
We congratulate Tom on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to seeing his leadership reflected on a global stage.
