Edwards & Ragatz to Host 2026 Law Day Gala Benefiting Jacksonville Area Legal Aid
Edwards & Ragatz, P.A. is proud to once again host its annual Law Day Gala in support of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA), continuing a long-standing commitment to expanding access to justice for individuals and families across Northeast Florida.
This year’s event will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Epping Forest Yacht Club in Jacksonville, and will feature a Kentucky Derby–inspired theme. Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of live music by the RiverTown Band, signature cocktails, valet service, and Derby-style attire, all while supporting an organization that provides critical legal services to those who need them most.
Over the past several years, the Law Day Gala has grown into a major community event, now welcoming more than 200 attendees annually. Edwards & Ragatz, P.A. donates 100% of the proceeds directly to Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, and last year’s event raised an impressive $36,500. The firm hopes to surpass that total in 2026, further strengthening JALA’s ability to serve low-income and vulnerable residents throughout the First Coast.

Supporting Access to Justice in Northeast Florida
Established in 1937, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free civil legal services to low-income and at-risk individuals and families across 17 counties in North Florida. JALA assists clients with matters ranging from housing stability and family law to elder law, veterans’ issues, immigration, consumer protection, and public benefits.
For many in our community, navigating the legal system without representation can feel overwhelming or impossible. JALA helps bridge that gap by delivering high-quality legal advocacy to those who might otherwise go without help, working every day to advance economic, social, and housing justice throughout the region.
